Salesforce – Alliance Leader

 

As a member of the leadership team, the Salesforce Alliance Leader will  help design and implement programs that foster a strong relationship between Demand Chain and the Salesforce organization.  Working with Sales, Marketing, Practice Leads, and Leadership they are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant Salesforce contacts and creating programs
that drive revenue growth and enable client value.

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Manage and elevate Demand Chain’s relationship with Salesforce. 
  • Drive Salesforce awareness of the Demand Chain brand, capabilities, and our fit for key Salesforce projects.
  • Position Demand Chain as the go-to partner within our focus geographies, Salesforce products, and industries.
  • Maximize Demand Chain’s partner status and opportunities by maintaining regular checkpoints with the Salesforce Partner Account Manager (PAM).
  • Capture / Monitor credit for sourced and joint ACV, and monitor / report on our Trailblazer Partner Score (TPS). 
  • Collaborate with Demand Chain delivery, sales, and marketing teams to ensure Demand Chain receives credit/points associated with program elements.
  • Increase Salesforce generated leads via Sales referral and revenue opportunities through Salesforce relationships.
  • Develop and lead sales opportunities by creating long-term relationships within the Salesforce sales organization. 
  • Design and execute co-marketing activities that help drive Sales pipeline growth.
  • Develop, enhance, and build Demand Chain’s awareness and usage among Salesforce influencers.
  • Help define Demand Chain solutions in a way that resonates with appropriate audiences (Salesforce AEs, prospects, etc.)
  • Develop/Update/Post relevant content; case studies, videos, demos, to the AppExchange, etc.
  • Recommend Salesforce events in which Demand Chain should sponsor or participate – assist with event promotion and execution.
  • Maintain effective relationships internally; Marketing, Operations, Project Delivery, Services, and leadership – to align all stakeholder interests and drive activity.

 

Primary Success Measures

 

  • Drive growth of Salesforce referrals and endorsements.
  • Maximize our Salesforce Partner Program level (Silver, Gold, Platinum)
  • Foster Demand Chain awareness/brand within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Deepen relationships with key Salesforce contacts (breadth, depth, volume)

 

 

Required Skills and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Sales/Business.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience (customer-technologies, preferably Salesforce).
  • Experience in B2B, channel and partner development positions.
  • Self-starter; comfortable owning the role and goals.
  • Skilled in networking and building long-term relationships.
  • Strong social and people development skills (for long term).
  • Proactively embrace the potential of technology.
  • Confident and engaging communicator of programs; strong influencing skills.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to all levels.
  • Ability to work independently–must be self-motivated.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
  • Open to travel (up to 15% of the time).
