Salesforce – Agile Project Leader


Our Agile Project Leaders (PL) are tasked with client, program, and project success, and rely on their background in Agile environments along with their success in implementing Salesforce solutions to provide hands-on expertise for Salesforce projects. The PL will develop and manage project lifecycles and service delivery, including solution scope, budget, timeline, resources, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Engage customer stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes and define success criteria.
  • Lead Discovery and requirements refinement sessions to uncover customers’ requirements.
  • Synthesize requirements to create clear and comprehensive user stories and solution design documentation.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis between Salesforce functionality and client requirements.
  • Design elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions involving configuration of Salesforce and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionality.
  • Manage the delivery and testing of Development functionality.
  • Iterate on solutions through a Build/Test/Review cycle with customer Product Owner.
  • Develop a training curriculum and deliver training sessions to the solution’s end users.
  • Optimize plans and resources to deliver maximum value to clients.
  • Collaborate with project, leadership, and sales teams to bring thought leadership and the full force of Demand Chain’s resources to all engagements.
  • Lead project teams in development and execution of project plans including management of scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Lead agile ceremonies and sprints.
  • Influence and coach customers throughout their Salesforce and agile journeys.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior resources.
  • Make decisions that positively impact customer, departmental, and individual metrics.



Required Skills and Experience:


  • 8-10 years of consulting and project management experience.
  • 5+ years of successful Salesforce deployment experience.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile Best Practices (Scrum Master Certification).
  • Experience with business process definition, best practices, and reengineering.
  • Experience writing user stories to capture Salesforce requirements.
  • Understanding of key concepts of user-centered design and design thinking.
  • Desire to learn new things.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills; very strong customer-facing skills.
  • Willingness to travel.


Desired Skills / Certifications:

  • certification (i.e., Administrator, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud).
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or similar).
