Channel Alliance Leader

 The Channel Alliance Leader role is part of the executive leadership team, helping to drive revenue growth through the Salesforce organization.  Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Practice Leads, and Leadership, this individual is responsible for building strong relationships with relevant Salesforce contacts and helping to formulate creative go-to-market strategies that grow revenue and optimize client value.  As a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for sponsoring programs that strengthen the Salesforce partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Build Relationships with Salesforce – Manage and elevate Demand Chain’s relationship with Salesforce.  Drive awareness of our brand, our capabilities, and our fit for key projects. Position us as the go-to partner for our focus geographies, Salesforce products & industries.
  • ID key Salesforce stakeholders aligned with our focus areas.
  • Create, develop, and manage relationships with relevant SF contacts.
  • Define a cadence of proactive outreach—personally and organizationally–to educate on Demand Chain capabilities and how we can add value to Salesforce.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings and market strategies with Salesforce sales teams.
  • Drive Demand Chain brand awareness via networking and personal connections within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Formalize and drive continuous improvement of alliance-related business development processes.
  • Maximize Partner Program – As a primary liaison, between Demand Chain and Salesforce, help maximize Demand Chain’s partner status and opportunities.  Including the following:
    • Host regular checkpoints with our Salesforce Partner Account Manager (PAM)
    • Responsible for Partner Value Score (PVS) monitoring/reporting
    • Maximize credit for sourced and joint ACV throughout the DC organization.
    • Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, and Marketing to ensure Demand Chain maximizes points associated with certifications, Trailhead, CSAT, and more.
  • Increase Salesforce Generated Leads/Revenue – Foster Sales referral and revenue opportunities through Salesforce relationships. Promote awareness and engagement within the Salesforce organization that result in SF sourced opportunities.  Proactively develop and lead sales opportunities through creating long-term relationships with the Salesforce sales organization.
  • Partner with Marketing: Work with marketing to design and implement programs that elevate awareness to Demand Chain solutions and capabilities.
  • Design and execute co-marketing activities that drive pipeline growth.
  • Develop, enhance and build Demand Chain’s awareness and usage among Salesforce influencers.
  • Craft and champion our top-level messages to Salesforce and determine what Demand Chain wants to be known for.
  • Help to define Demand Chain solutions in a way that resonates to appropriate audiences (Salesforce AEs, potential clients, etc.)
  • Publish Monthly “Key Wins” and success stories newsletter to our AEs, create success stories, and post to the 62 org to ensure high visibility of our work.
  • Develop/Update/Post content: case studies, videos, demos, AppExchange profile, etc.
  • SF Briefings – Publish SF Briefings (quarterly) that can be incorporated into client success meetings to increase awareness of notable events and strategies occurring within the SF partnership.
  • Events – provide recommendations on Salesforce events in which Demand Chain should participate and whether we should speak, own or host a booth or table. Develop a plan for maximizing the impact of Demand Chain attendees at Dreamforce.
  • Additional – Maintain effective relationships internally – Marketing, Operations, Project Delivery Services, and leadership – to align all stakeholder interests and drive activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Sales/Business
  • 5-10 years of professional experiences in CRM or related technologies
